The Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying at Le Pont International College is a nationally recognised trade qualification designed for students who want to establish practical trade skills for the construction industry.
This course provides hands on training in laying bricks and blocks to construct walls, partitions, arches, steps, and structural masonry components used in residential and commercial construction projects.
Students develop skills in measurements, levelling, masonry bonding techniques, structural layout, workplace safety, and construction methods aligned with Australian industry standards.

Course Structure

Entry Requirements
There are no formal training package prerequisites for this qualification. However, Le Pont International College admission requirements apply.
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age at course commencement
- Have completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent
- Meet English language requirements equivalent to IELTS 6.0 overall
- Complete Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital assessment during orientation
- Possess sufficient physical capacity for practical trade training
- Have basic digital capability for course participation
